The Technical University of Cluj-Napoca organizes admission examinations every July, on the basis of its admission regulations.

The admission examination into the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca is run according to article nr.58 of the Education Law, and according to article nr.59 of the law regarding the approval of the Government Decree nr.36/1997 in order to modify and complete the Education Law no.84/1995.

The admission examination is organized for an electric profile, by the Faculty of Automation and Computer Science together with the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology and the Faculty of Electrotechnics . The candidates can apply for the specializations within these faculties in the order of their preferences.

The following table contains some statistics about the candidates in the admission examination this academic year. The admission examination consists of a written multiple choice test in “Elements of Algebra and Mathematical Analysis".

To enroll in the English program the students have to pass a language test, after having passed the admission examination.
