Electrical Measurements Department
Belonging to the Department of Electrical engineering already from the ‘60s with a professionally rich tradition, the Department of ELECTRICAL MEASUREMENTS became an independent entity in 1992, as a result of grouping the specialized subjects and inclusion of measurement problem within the reality of technical progress.
The main didactic and research trends of the department cover the following fields:
- Electrical, electronic and digital measurements of electric and non-electric quantities;
- Sensors and transducers
- CAD of measurement systems and transducers;
- Virtual instrumentation and modern techniques of measurement;
- Signal processing; digital image processing
- Reliability
- Monitoring and control systems
- Communication protocols and networking
