Centre of Scientific excellence , of research in electric machines and drives - MAE-Cluj, The Technical university of Cluj-Napoca , evaluated and accredited by CNCSIS (certificat no. 11/CC-B/2001).

CAD in Electromagnetism and Electric Circuits Laboratory achieved in the programmes TEMPUS S_JEP 8001/94 and respectively TEMPUS S_JEP 12080/97, projects co-ordonated by the Department of Electrical Engineering from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. The laboratory equipment values 150.000 EURO.
