Short-term Education
Objective: The short-term studies prepare specialists qualified in operating electronic and communication systems, which are used in various industrial applications, as well as in the everyday life.
Specializations:
Structure of studies : The short-term studies last for 6 semesters (3 calendar years) and comprise the following training activities:
- Semesters 1 to 5 – attendance at the basic lectures with the supporting activities (tutorials, applications and laboratory classes, projects); each semester concludes with a set of examinations and colloquia;
- Semester 6 - preparation of the graduation examinations and graduation thesis.
Graduation: The studies conclude with the graduation examination which consists in the evaluation of knowledge and abilities in fundamental electronics and specialty subjects, as well as the defending of the graduation thesis. After their examination, the graduates are granted the Graduation Diploma and the title of Engineer.
The graduates of the short-term studies may continue their education by attending the long-term studies, according to the "Students Professional Activity Regulations".
