The Department of Surface Engineering and Environment Protection

The Department of surface Engineering and Environment Protection (I.S.P.M.) is the former department of Heat treatment and Aggregates. It offers courses for the undergraduates and graduates of all specialisations in the faculty, mainly in heat treatment, surface engineering, heat systems and equipment, environment protection industrial management and marketing. The research activity is focused upon the fields mentioned above. There are very many research contracts signed with industry or as part of national research grants as well as with institutions from abroad. The department organises doctoral studies in the fields of interest.
