UTPRES is the Publishing House of the Technical university of Cluj-Napoca, It was set up in 1995 with the aim of publishing mainly teaching-related books, written by the academic staff of our institution. Since its setting up, UTPRES has published more than 350 books., in tens of thousands of copies.

UTPRES is a non-profit organisation, part of CCSTTI. The books are financed by the publishing house and the cost recovery is made by selling them to the public.

Books are printed in the printing shop of the university, equipped with 2 copy-printers, an offset machine, a collator and a book-binding machine.

After publication, books are exhibited in the small bookshop of our library, wherefrom those interested can purchase them.
