Accomodation

The University offers accommodation in student hostels in two locations in the town of Cluj-Napoca and in one location in Baia-Mare.

The students can be housed in the hostels from the following areas: Complexul Studentesc Observator, Complexul Studentesc Marasti or Complexul Studentesc Baia-Mare.

The hostels are updated and refurbished, have lecture rooms and libraries, free of charge access to the internet, canteens, and sports ground.

Students can find accommodation, at request, in University-managed hostels at the beginning of every academic year; they can select the type of room according to the offer provided by the faculties.

The following categories of students can be housed in hostels: 

• Romanian students attending our university and who do not have a permanent location in Cluj-Napoca, respectively in Baia-Mare, who do not have their own house, or whose parents do not possess a dwelling in these two locations or in the neighbouring areas  (20 km);
• Families of students – it is compulsory that both students attend state universities, and one must be a student of TUCN,;
• Young employees of TUCN (up to 35 years old) not having their own property dwelling in Cluj-Napoca or in the neighbouring areas (20 km);
• Foreign citizens studying in our university.
