A minimum level B2 of English. The selection committee might interview the candidates to ensure an adequate level of English.
They must be employed at a higher education institution for the duration of the mobility.
The home institution is responsible for any salary or social security contributions during the period of the mobility.
The home institution must be willing to sign an interinstitutional agreement and a "teaching assignment" document that will cover the activity of the visiting lecturer during the mobility at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca.
What does TUCN offer for the visiting professors:
will provide accommodation on the university campus and food at the university canteen during the mobility.
in the case of courses that are held by two visiting professors, each of them will have accommodation and food only for one week. Additional information will be provided in this regard.
by the end of the course, UTCN will issue a certificate to the visiting professor, in which the title of the course and the number of hours taught will be mentioned.;
For universities that are eligible for Erasmus + funding, TUCN will sign the "Erasmus+ Teaching Staff" mobility documents, under the umbrella of the Erasmus + mobility program. Thus, an interinstitutional agreement (if necessary), a letter of invitation, a teaching assignment document and a certificate of the teaching visit or a letter of invitation as a visiting researcher will be signed, as appropriate.

Course competition registration procedure:
Teachers or researchers interested in applying to this program will need to fill in the form "TUCN International Winter School-Course Proposal".
The deadline for submission is September 20th, 2021.
Candidates may apply individually or in collaboration with other colleagues, as long as the teaching periods do not overlap. In case of a joint proposal, please send us only one application form.

The course will include 40 teaching hours (theory and applications) divided into two weeks
