11:50-12:00  Timothee Toury  “Presentation of European University of Technology - EUt+ “ 

Asigned Director at EUt+, Timothée Toury has been Associate Professor at Université de technologie de Troyes (UTT) since 2006. He has been Director of Academic Affairs of UTT (2012-2015) and First Vice-President of Université de Champagne from (2016-2017). He has been a research engineer for technology transfer at the CNRS. He has more than 45 international reviewed papers, international patents, book chapters, leader of 5 and involved in 8 European, national and regional research projects. He has been associate professor at the Ecole militaire in Paris for 8 years. He is an expert for the French Commission des titres d’ingénieurs (ENAEE member), World Bank and AFD in university governance and higher education and pedagogy reform He co-initiated the original idea and the vision of the EUt+ initiative and led the structuring of this bid. He is the manager of this initiative

11:05-11:20      Bernd Steffensen: "Knowledge Creating Teams for Sustainable Development - Interdisciplinary Research in the European University of Technology"

Professor at UAS Darmstadt (h_da). Studied sociology in Kiel, Bielefeld and Lancaster. In 2000, he was appointed professor at h_da for “innovation and technology assessment”. He took over as head of h_da’s Center for Research and Development in 2007 and was elected as vice president for research and technology transfer from 2010-13. He established the graduate school of h_da and is academic head of the PhD centre “Sustainability Sciences”. His research interests are sustainable development, technology and society, and engineering education and academic integrity.

11:20-11:35      Patrik O`Donnel: “Internationalization of inclusiveness and embeddedness in the European University of Technology

He is the leader of the Enterprise and Engagement theme on TU Dublin’s. Programme Implementation team. Pat has led change management in the merger of three higher education institutions making up Technological University Dublin. He led the engagement with external stakeholders from industry, business, employers, civic and community organisations and other areas such as measuring socio economic impact and planning for widening participation and careers services. Previously, Pat was Head of the School of Engineering at the Institute of Technology Tallaght and previously its Industry Liaison Manager. He is a Chartered Engineer and has a Masters in Interactive Multimedia.

11:35-11:50       Karlis Valtins: "C19 Stories on internationalization during pandemic from Riga Technical University”

He is head of International Projects in Riga Technical University since 2013. During the last seven years, Kārlis Valtiņš has been steering and managing implementation of 15 international projects, such as Erasmus Mundus, H2020, Erasmus+ KA107, Erasmus+ KA2, World Bank funded projects as well as local and regional initiatives. In parallel – RTU researcher in the field of social innovations and teacher of two courses entitled “Sociology of Management” and “Business Sociology”. He was a PhD candidate in University of Latvia, and in the past has worked in the private sector (education consultancy firm) and Riga city council (managing urban planning projects). Has published 5 papers in rank A reviewed international publications with topics that relate to social innovations, education and technology, 1 book chapter about transition from VET to HE in Latvia.
